Drunken babble... ain't it fun?

taerowynSo this is some belated birthday drunken babble. I did go out on my actual birthday, but it was after a long day of classes (9:30 to 8:00) and not too much alcohol. Tonight, on the other hand, was a school sponsored drinking night i.e. pay a fixed fee and get tickets for drinks. Plus, thankfully, the woman in charge of drink tickets spreads the love. i.e. the less people there, the more drink tickets per person.
This was a beginning of the semester grad event at a "dueling piano" bar. I wouldn't have gone, but the person who invited me just got dumped by her boyfriend of four years over the phone. Men, can I tell you, that is one of the crappiest things you can do. Four years and dumped over the phone. I could see it if they lived on opposite sides of the country or some such, but he's in the same state. A New England state no less, meaning he's about an hour away. Yet he dumped her over the phone. Asshole.

taerowyn. School, school, school, school, school. And lots of it. Plus, I just got a job/internship thingy. It's PR, which sucks, but it pays, which doesn't. It's all about finding that balance. I can't believe I have to find a "real job" within the next two months. Hell, I can't believe I'll have my Master's in two months.
OK... this typing thing is harder than I had thought, right now, which means less babble than I'd planned. Oh well, maybe later.
