taerowynAh! New format! Totally distracting me from my topic. OK, not totally, cause here it is:
I've discovered yet another "signpost to being a journalist" or some such. There's the cliched seeing your name in print. This summer's getting a check from the New York Times Company. Today I hit another one. Having a scientist email you the manuscript of their yet unpublished book.

I have an interview for a paid internship at an organization that is over 200 years old and proud of it and has been described to me as "buttondown" and "business to business casual. So, I ask:
