Jul. 5th, 2004 11:48 amOK, I can never watch fireworks anywhere else ever again. Just...damn. It's defitinitely a good thing they do that over the river. I liked watching it with fellow science geeks who didn't look at me funny when my awe was expressed as "Chemistry is just cool!"
There was one kind...so hard to describe. It was kind of like rain on a puddle of water but instead of ripples it was little bursts of gold shimmers...covered the whole sky. Then there was one that exploded and left these chains of 7+ green dots in lines that slowly floated down. I swear they looked like chromosomes or somethigne (science geek again). They just hung there for at least 30 seconds, which in firework time is pretty damn long.
