"Home"sick
Dec. 5th, 2001 08:28 amWent to Coopersmiths for the tapping of their holiday brews. Let me worn all you Ft Collins people to beware the "Jingle Ale." In my oh-so-humble opinion, Nutmeg, and lots of it, does not a good beer make.
Since it was a little clebration type thing they had a pipe band that floated back and forth between poolside and pubside. Made me very homesick for Long Island for reasons that will be obvious to some and need not be explained to others.
When I had gone up to the Highlands festival and found out that FTC had a pipe band I thought about looking into joining, but I noticed last night that they play traditional hand grip. I can't play that way, I've never been able to play that way. I just have no dexterity when my wrist is turned at that angle. Oh well, have to find some other way to spend my time.
