taerowynCowboy Mouth last night. YEAH! Have converted yet another friend into a fan. Soon, I will convert everybody I know. Yes, that means you.
It was a liitle odd though. It's the seventh show I've gone to and for the first time they started the show with Jenny Says instead of ending it. I was just so confused?!?
An incredible set, as always. I do miss Rob though. The new bassist Mary just isn't as much fun and she really shouldn't take lead vocals. Ever.
Was so happy, as this is the first time I got to hear "Irish Boy" live. Probably as they were in Boston near St. Paddy's day and all that.
Was entertained by the opening band. The bassist was too obsessed with being a rock star... Thrashing on stage, convulsing around the bass, just oddness. As my friend observed "I feel like I've seen his orgasm face a few too many times for somebody I've never actually met."
They were amusing. Announced, "This is our love song, it's a ballad." Then played a song with a pretty fast driving beat and the line "I'm not looking for love, I'm just looking for tonight." Ok, then.
Equally as entertaining? The lead singer looked like he just walked off a deserted island with Brooke Shields.
