taerowynWell Spring Break is at a close. Let's look at my to-do list vs. actually accomplished list:
(X)Write an op-ed dealing with the environment and public health
( )Write a 1200 word business article
( )Complete a ten essay-question midterm
(X)Research and write two story pitches for an explainer piece
( )Research and write three story pitches for a policy piece
(X)Do my taxes
( )File for financial aid
(/)Find a summer internship
(X)Research what's new and happening in the field of air pollution
( )Study the income statements of a MA business
(X)Read over 200 pages for various classes
So 5.5 (the .5 being I researched more intenships, but haven't actually sent of the apps) out of 11. 50% isn't all that bad, though it will add some additional stress to my life having not done more. But I have month for the 1200 word article, a week for the midterm, til Friday for the policy piece and two weeks to file. As long as I do the income statement work this afternoon, I am caught up until Friday. It's not all bad.
And guess what...I can "let it go" cause I'm going to Cowboy Mouth next week. Cause, you know, grad school is all about the social activities. Right? Right?!
