Saw our footage for the first time tonight. Was much better than we feared. Got a huge ego boost as the two shots he specifically pointed out as well composed were two that I did when I had the camera all to myself.

This class is going to take a ridiculous amount of time though. SO much to do. My nights and weekends are pretty free, but only because I need my daylight, weekday hours to:

a) got to class
b) work as a graduate assistant
c) work in the editing room that isn't open on nights or weekends
d) conduct any interviews I need for stories for all four classes

That on top of reading the Times and the Globe daily, any assigned reading or writing, and trying to eat and sleep enough to survive is just so much. Have to figure out some time this week to do laundry since I have all that PLUS a wedding this weekend. I think my head may just explode.

Don't you just LOVE grad school?! I swear I feel like I'm sinking lower and lower... I mean you know that I"m not the most organized person, but I can't seem to keep anything straight b/c I spend so much time studying. My house is covered in flash cards, old tests, notes, bills, dirty clothes, oh yeah... the dog and I too. This week has been overly bad with a lot of late nights and 3 quizzes and a test this week and 2 more looming over my head. :o) Don't you just wish you could be like the people in the Matrix, they plug you in, it feels kinda weird, but BOOM - you're smart! No studying, no rushing around... :o) I want to hear all about the wedding though!!
