Jan. 15th, 2003 08:13 amSo my boss purchased these static mats (hell if I know the technical term). They're supposed to sit under your keyboard and draw any static charge off of you so that you won't accidently fry your computer by zapping it. It seems to work fine for everybody except me. The best we can figure is that somehow it's drawing the charge off of me, but that's causing an imbalance between me and the environment so that static energy from around me flows in. Whatever the hell it is, after 10 seconds of touching that thing I'm all pins and needles and itches and just URGH!
